The sunroof is not an option. But there have been people who have put in an aftermarket on the XR5. I believe it was... 2500 bucks or so?

Yes it has been done in some xr5's
Check out the xr5 forum for details perhaps:
http://www.fordxr5turbo.com/forum/in...p?action=forum

Do a search on sunroof. Im sure there are details in there about where to go and costs involved. End result looks really good as well.

One point... when you get the sunroof put in... get them to put in an interior light for the back seats....its really dark back there.

It would be handy to get the global open and close working on the sunroof.

Its a bit wierd, Isacc pointed out on Saturday theres a sunroof in the owners manual.

The ones in Falcon come with global close, they're a Webasto Hollandia sunroof from memory, because that's what we used to fit when I worked in a Ford Dealership a couple of years ago. They were about the $2,500 mark fitted, looked like they'd come from factory and closed when you locked the car, I wouldn't hesitate for a millisecond to do one. We used to get Prestige Sunroofs in Blacktown I think it was to install them. Well worth every cent for a high quality install. I believe there's also a Prestige outlet in Melbourne.

Google them.
