Default Au indicator wiper stalk

Apparently now it's not produced or sold anymore and mine is buggered, what have others done? Don't want to wreck the car because of that

what do you mean by "mine is buggered" ?. what has broken?. a pic or two may help with the err 'problem'

First lost lowbeam and auto electrician checked and found no power coming the column unit, now lost everything connected to the column stalk unit, not made anymore and discontinued I was told

could always visit a wreckers for a replacement. have you checked out the wiring at the base of the stalk? .... wiring 'may have' broken?.


Ps. doesn't the stalk wiring supply an earth for the low/high beam lights?.

Is this what you need? I have been trying to attach pics of the wiper/indicator stalks mounted on the centre boss that we took out of my AU Tradesman when we retrofitted cruise control from a wreck. The unit we took out was in perfect working order and has been in safe storage. Sorry I can't work out how to add pics!!! Site kept saying attachment failed???

Steve - most people use someone [like postimage.org or flickr.com] to 'host' the pics & then with the link supplied paste it in your message, which when posted shows the link you pasted in your reply as a pic.
