It'd probably be a nice looking car if he ditched the stickers, bonnet vents, the wing and did something with that god awful interior. Even still I don't think it'd be worth any more that $4g tops.

I love these two lines "Great head turner and chick magnet! Don't miss out on this bargain!" and "The engine is stock standard with no upgrades but very fast fully serviced." He'd be the first person to call a stock 3.9L 3spd fast! lol

The only decent thing on that car is the wheels, the stereo is shit, the paint sucks, the interiour is screwed. I am sick of seeing this car, why can't it just get written off and wrecked or something.
It gives us E-series drivers a bad name.

He used to be on the old forums...

Still laughing that the word fast was used in the context of a 3spd 3.9L ROFL

It rates with a black AU that has turbo stickers on the side and it's stock. Riced up big time. Both are terrible. Haven't seen the black AU in Geelong for ages though.

It reads that the base of the rear seat is still there, but the top half has been removed, and another thing with all that cutting of the rear parcel shelf to fit 2 12" subs would be well and truly illegal.

Yeah, BoZZa17. Here is the quote that is in the comments section.
Quote:
2 x 6" speakers in a speakerwall replacing the backrest of the rear seat
So, basically, this bloke has spent thousands on a car that is only worth thousands. In the process, he has created a laughing stock, and it is still only a 3spd, stock 3.9 litre. I am presuming it is the CFi version, not the MPi. As well, it is now only a 2-seater (very practical :hihi: ) and I doubt, the boot could be used for much, considering the system. The interior looks pathetic and the red interior looks even worse considering the exterior paint is blue. The blueprint paint isn't bad but I would ditch those graphics. And as for those masked taillights, and the cheap Autobarn spoiler. Yuk. What was he thinking? Nice rims though.

special red lights in the doorlocks (nobody's ever seen this before!)

Nothing "special" about that a mate of mine did it in his dunnydoor 1 LED in each lock pretty easy to do.

i've always wanted to see what an EA would look in Blueprint, and now i know! still a bit devided, but i think if it quit the high carb diet it would be alright! i bet that car is in the same boat as mine, worth a tenth of the cost of the work done to it!! and he doesnt even know how to choose stereo equipment....Sony....what a waste!

Haha. I should have read the line that said
Quote:
Engine 6 cylinder Petrol Multi-point injected 3.9L (3949cc)
I admit the MPFI is no slouch but I wouldn't go bragging about how fast it is. Most new cars built within the past 5 or so years would kill it not just in a straight line but around the twisty bits as well, particuarly with the old 3spd. It does look to be based on a Ghia but it's strange he just called it a Fairmont with no mention of Ghia. The Ghia badge is a huge part of what makes a car special.

Sorry Damo and any other 3 speed drivers. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I was just talking from a performance point of view. I agree the 3 speeds have their advantages, but I'd personally prefer my 4 speed, despite its general clunkiness (The 1st to 2nd gearchange is far from smooth). I'd still prefer a 5 speed over either. Each to their own, I guess.
