Default AU XR8 Gearbox Rebuild

hey,
i am about to purchase this kit: http://www.astroperformance.com/pro...products_id/207 from the states and want to find the answers to a few questions before i purchase it.
What gearbox would my AU Falcon 01 XR8 gearbox be under as they list the parts for the kit as 1985-1993 Mustang 5.0 and 1994-1995 Mustang 5.0? Im 90% sure that they classify my gearbox as the t5Z not the T5WC.
Im buying some additional parts with the kit and all up its costing me a little over $2500 landed at my door. Do i have to pay import taxes or anything like that? if so is there anyway to go around it like packaging parts in a number of boxes to avoid going over the import cost limit?
Will this kit fit my gearbox, im buying an alloy mainshaft with it as well and want to make sure everything fits before i put alot of money on it.
Roughly how much would a gearbox shop charge to replace the parts in my gearbox considering that i supply all the parts?
im looking at doing this really soon so if anyone could help me then that would be great.
i have tried posting this thread in the transmission section but had limited responses.

i messaged the manager of the company that produces the kit and this is what i said:
hey mate,
before i purchase this kit i want to make 100% sure that i can fit this gearbox kit into my car. I own a 2001 Ford Falcon XR8 in Australia and it has a T5Z spec gearbox. Would you know for sure that this kit would fit my car.
thanks
chris
and he replied saying:
As long as you run all of the components in the Kit Quoted, Yes, it will work. All of the Components are not only the components needed to install our A-5 Gear Kit into a T-5 World Class Case from 1985-93 Mustang, but also the correct components to utilize a 85-93 Depth Mustang Bellhousing. If your utilizing the M-7003-Z Motorsports T-5, and didn’t have to do any modification to bolt it behind your factory bellhousing, I guarantee it will fit.
can anyone be sure in saying that this will fit?

Ring Mal Wood Automotive in Queensland - they'd know all this stuff off the top of their head. For a bit more $, they can supply a Tremec T56 6 speed which you'll never break.

I think the T5-Z and T5- World Class are the same thing and in the AU XR8 / BA XR6t they are in their strongest form. So I'm not certain, but you may be spending $2.5k to make your box just as strong as it was. I do know for sure that not many owners of a BA XR6t running 250rwkw+ who broke their T5 bothered rebuilding their T5....

The kit astro performance sells makes the T5 just as strong, if not stronger than the T56.
Its a whole new gear kit, bigger and stronger, also front input and rear shafts are much stronger too than the T5Z/T5 WC box has.

Like i said to you in the driveline forum, best you measure up the front and rear shaft lengths and email him those lengths and see if it suits.
