Good on him for having a go.
It is still an AU underneath, not a BA/BF Pursuit!!! Doesn't do much for me!

Looks nice to me... and remember every car is about its outward looks...
Doubt he will make a big profit considering how much he spent (including buying the car).

He won't make profit but I doubt he's expecting too.. what people spent on their cars is generally a LOT different to what they actually spent.. if you get what I mean..

I like it and have considered doing much the same thing myself. I don't see a problem with it, it's kinda like people with an XW putting XY taillights in ut and a GT badge on the front grille.

Yeah, I say its a good conversion and you have the added bonus of ****ing off BA/BF owners too!
Imagine the conversation, showing a fellow BA/BF owner and the look of digust when they find out its an AU. It could only be cooler if the AU was actually an XF originally.... a BF XF.

Couldn't one buy a BA Pursuit for low $40K vicinity now?

He's done a great job, but I would've spent all that cash on performance mods.

Nicely done, all credit due. But I would of traded the AU and used the upgrade money to close the cost gap. But that's my opinion.

looks like one of the cars the panel shop accross the road has done...
He has done a few wagons and utes now... Most times (not saying in this case) he starts with an AU with front damage and just replaces it with the BA XR parts... I dont know if I would rip an AU apart just to change it but if I needed some front end lovin' I'd go the same way

im not fussed what he did with his money lol, but whoever the buyer may be will most definately pick up a bargain as one wouldn't expect the price to rise much further.
That V8 might sound good with the quad tips (unless they're just there for looks) lol |

That looks great. IMO
Although on the rego papers, it will still say AU. So you don't get the full satisfaction. |
