An opportunity exists for a customer focused Salesperson to join our internal dynamic sales team based at Dandenong VIC. Experience within the Automotive Aftermarket and a sound knowledge of automotive parts and service products is a distinct advantage, however National Parts the leading nationwide wholesaler will consider candidates from outside the industry.
We would expect the successful applicant to possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Responding to telephone and fax sales enquiries
• Provide parts interpretation
• Raise and process sales orders.
• Follow up on deliveries, order status, customer service and related issues.
• General sales administration

The successful applicant requires:

o A pleasant telephone manner
o A high standard of customer service
o Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
o Efficient keyboard skills
o Good organisational skills
o Be self motivated.
o Possess a team player outlook

Ha, I worked at national parts for a couple of months, Not many "happy campers" there. although the discount is impressive.

National Parts supply all the major auto chains including Autobarn, Repco and Bursons etc. This would be a great position for someone who wants to get into the industry because if you worked here for a bit, you could walk into pretty much any auto parts store etc and be offered a job.

Work for ford themselves! This sounds like a good opportunity to get in the door and yes discounts are good! I get them on all my ford nic nacs i want!
