Hello all i have an eb2 falcon. I was wondering what the black box and red box under the dash on the left hand side are for? cheers

Red - Smartlock
Black - BCM, or Body Control Module... Smartlock stops people from stealing your car if they tried to hotwire it. The BCM is what controls the speedometer, door locks, brightness of lights, lights on/off (inside cabin) etc..
