Very nice car.
THe wheels are very nice too. Not too plasticy. I hate the plasticy alloys. These actually look like metal.

I was wondering the same thing.

Anyways, I wouldn't say the VE exterior is 100% original. There's a bit here and there of others cars. It's been discussed before.

: As if BMW would be looking to holden for idea's and then stealing them. Their design team would be shot.

It doesnt look that much like a VE, VE's after all we're trying for a European style.

BMW being European ;)

oh..i get it poor build quality...thats where the VE resemblence came from :

I've driven the new VE calais 6L, and I would have to say its not a bad machine. That said, first time I laid eyes on it I though BMW and maybe a bit of audi as well. You cant deny the short front overhang is not a rip off of BMW styling!

My thoughts on the BMW tail lights, maybe they are aftermarket jobs (hence they don't line up properly)

VE rip off it surely is. The guard flutes are definitely a rip off from the VE. I mean, there are no other 'new' cars apart from the VE Commodore.. the pinnacle of design and development, is there?? _

[/sarcasm].
