Default Another door lock problem

Yep, another one.

Ive just recently bought an auII one tonner and the passenger door wont unlock. Wont unlock by remote or manually. It has to be opened from inside the car. Whats the problem here?

Thanks
Tim

Sounds like the door actuator has died or the contacts aren't connecting properly.

When you unlock/lock the door can you hear it whirring away? If so then it will most likely be the little cog that controls the locking/unlocking mechanism.

Sounds like someone has had an actuator problem, and to make the car secure, they've removed the rod from the outer door handle to the locking mechanism. I'd replace the actuator, and then re-install that rod and all should be good. FTG should be able to help with the appropriate actuator.
