Default The legendary BA gets a humerous writeup

I came across this in the Betoota Advocate. Worth sharing I thought.

They're usually pretty good with the car articles; I suspect one of the Beetoota crew may be an auto journalist who has seen the light...

Interesting and probably owned a BA at some stage. The rag certainly brightens my mornings.

I'm gettin me a commodore. Seem to be pretty safe from spontaneous loss of control if 9/10 falcons suffer from it. #mangless

Grabbing my power window for 10 years to help it raise if even slightly wet was always a highlight.

And oh. The door actuators.

These little bastards seriously (never had a problem in any car before or after) almost sent me to the loony bin (it may have)

Power steering pump *ed me over as well continually.

Loved the Turbo though for 10 years despite this!! Brilliant car for the money!!

Similiar problems around here sometimes, although with some the Cops have helped out the unfortunate driver by calling a Towtruck to get the effected car off the road

Just watch out for the trees. So many of the Commodores have merged with trees.

Enjoyed the read, had 3 BAs first two both utes ie XR6 then XR8 the pair of em never let me down and no issues whatsoever,Xr8 was starting to get the timing chain rattle when i moved it on ironically the currently owned GT-P has a door actuator issue and the hoodlining is currently holding its own with the help of a few sewing pins no biggie and its only my own laziness that they havent been sorted, most annoying fault is the mixer shaft in heater going, expensive and not something i want to have a crack at myself, whatever there faults in my opinion with some decent rims and sat right the B series Falcons are one of the best looking Falcons ever produced so in the shed it stays.
