Default Factory Sat-Nav

Hey Fadi,
I'm looking at a '03 GT-P with factory Sat-Nav, the owner says that it doesn't work for some reason. Is this a easy fix for you, and what would it cost approx' to fix up? I know it would be hard without seeing the car but any ideas?
Thanks,
Greg.

from memory we were not able to fix the factory navs since no parts are available, the maufacturer Denso i think, offers changeovers. very costly we had some customers that been quoted up to $3000.00 from them, the only way to know is to ask your local ford dealership.

cheers

My Sat nav stopped working giving "check map data" error message, three days under warranty and ford exchanged unit. We suspect it may be the disc but I need to find another one in Nth Brisbane to try or to put my disc in another unit. Any one have one I can borrow it is an 12 / 06 BKMKII
