G'day,
My 95 1.8 Laser 5 speed is on the way out. The synchro in third is playing up. How much would I need to pay to get a reco gearbox put in? I'm near Broadmeadows in Melbourne. Can anyone help me? GK |

Gearboxes are the weakest link in our cars. Don't expect the synchro replacement to be cheap. Call up Repco and ask for a price on the part, then ring around to get labour costs.

Sounds good to me mate. I had to pay $1300 for a box for the TX5.
