Its now sold, how ever it pulled 299rwkw at a vic dyno day.
Refered to around here as 'turbo tony' he isnt actually an active forum member.

AU Factory heat sheilds are made from that stuff, so you may be able to get some from wreckers etc.

doesnt appear that all the au factory sheilds are like it, au3 def is the motor i've got had that style, but my bro's au2 is different

Check out a tarago or some other van that has the engine under the seat. They normally have a lot of heatshield under them.

you must be able to buy the heatshield stuff somewhere - i notice nizpro has used it on a car from the xr6turbo forums (bcl) in a photo, doesnt look like standard heatshield modified just the same type of stuff bent to suit - looks very flexible too...

yeah you'd deffinately be able to buy it, Swift automotive used it to sheild the LPG converters on Rmyers car, if anyone finds out where to get it can they let us know the price too.

can any1 tell me more about the EF/L in the first pic... coz it dosen't seem to b useing a intercooler... so i'm asuming that its not running alot of boost...
