Hi All
I am soon to graduate uni and will be purchasing a newer car once i start work. I will be needing to get of my EL Fairmont but unsure what to do. It is in excellent condition throughout and i know its history as my parents owned it since a yr old (and me the last 2yrs). I am unsure whether i should strip her down and sell the parts as i know these parts (especially cause mine is the cappuchini trim) still fetch a bit. Or whether i should just sell it complete. If i do sell it complete what would be a reasonable asking price? It has 247000km's on it which i think may be a deterent to ppl when i go to sell, although in reality i dont think it is excessive and i know at least prob 50000 would have been driving around QLD and Australia watching me play sport! Its stock besides a fairlane grill, clear side repeaters, 15inch ROH's, cat back exhaust and mp3 player. Just wondering what your thoughts are on what i should do as i am sure some people have been down the same road as myself Thanks in advance Jason |

looks like a great car. sell it complete as then you arent stuck with bits you will never get rid of, and you'll get all your money at once.

That really looks too good to strip - yeah so it's got 247000 kms, as you say some people might think it's excessive but if you know the history and the price is right, I reckon someone will get themselves a bargain.

Those kms aren't bad considering the age of these cars. I reckon try and sell it complete, or maybe take it back to stock, sell the car as a stocker and sell the mods seperately

im unsure of a good price for it but sell complete as not worth stripping. you might get the same money or a few more dollars stripping but why spend all that time just to make a few extra $'s
dylan.

I would think maybe up to 5k complete.
You might get a little more from stripping, but then you have to spend a heap of time doing it, wait for everything to sell which takes months and make sure you still save the money! Personally I wouldn't bother.

Its a sausage fest, so trying to attract that kind of attention here proberly aint a good idea... unless you have a padlock on your *** or something. Lol. - Sarah |

You strip that and I'll punch you in the head.
Sell it as is, dont return it to stock, you'll get more people looking at it, especially as it looks so good. |

its way to neat to strip. If you have an audio set up maybe take that out and put some standard rims on it, but i'd leave it to that
