Default Black C pillars

Hi all, my 88 EA S has black C pillars. Does anyone know if any EAs left the factory that way ?

Yeah I think it loos great with some good tint to match.

Funny story actually, I saw a burgandy EL today trying to be a 180SX..LOL

The roof was painted black, so where the C pillars are A pillars; it was pretty bad. Even had black side mirrors to match.

To top it off it looked like blackboard paint :/

I've seen a NC Fairlane that was SVO style, of grey lower half, white upper... but this one also had really dark windows and black roof...

Also had a very "custom" front bar...

And I agree, black C pillars with dark tints look awesome!

Your car looks good, but you should paint the B-pillars black too

EA series 1's had black stickers on the B-pillars but they got rid of them for EAII. You should be able to get the stickers from Ford. I think EL XR and Fairmonts got the black pillars too. (I just searched for pictures of most EF/EL models and that's what I found)

It looks like a sticker, but I could be wrong. I've noticed a lot of EA1's where part of it has come off, and I can see the normal car colour underneath, indicating a sticker
