How can you be bored in Melbourne! There is always something happening, if I was you I would head down to Docklands/Waterfront city for the fire festival thing they are having, its on everynight I believe, DFO is down Docklands plenty to do there, depends what you are in town for, relaxing, or getting out and about, shame about the weather, would you believe me if I said the weather has been pretty good until thursday and today.

yeah were actually staying at an appartment in docklands and have good view of the fire festival from the balcony.

We ended up going to crown to try some famous krispy kreme donuts and do a little shopping. But night ended badly. We got back to out super awesome fg hire car to find the drivers side window smashed and the gps taken. We where parked at the crown underground parking right near one of the lifts. There was glass everywhere. Now we have taken the car back to europe car at the airport and they want $600 to replace the window and because its an airport there are around $100 in tax's aswell.

So that sort of screwed up our little holiday a bit.

That sort of SUCKS! mate. Did you not have insurance to cover that?

Those Krispy Krems were OK, but after all the hype from the AFF boys it was a bit of a letdown..

Hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday.

lol. thanks mate. Well the hire car company has insurance for the car but there excess is $2500. We asked if we could just go get the window fixed our selves, we got a quote for $300. But he said no and they already had the car.

The dougnuts were ok, but yeah not as good as i thought they would be. Now to try some starbucks

Only way to eat KK's is original glaze, 8 seconds in M'wave ......the rest are not great. You come to Melb then go to Starbucks for coffee!!! Go to ANY small cafe (only about a million of em) for way better coffee ..... there is heaps to do, just a shame about the weather!

Yeah mate, don't waste your time/money at starbucks, there are a gazzillion cafes around with good coffee. Speaking of starbucks, I once saw a girl order a large vanilla mocha with 9 sugars!
