Default Handbrake noise???

Hey
Went to a mechanic the other day and was told the noise coming from the rear of my car was something to do with my handbrake??
Apparantly it is common in the au's.
The noise is like a sorta wobble noise and is worse when u go round corners especially when turning left.

We got some au fanatics here as am i. but i just wanted to know if anyone else has heard of this as i dont know if this mechanic knows what he's on about half the time.

Cheers guys

Mine does it too, but not all the time. It usually goes away once you take off.
