For me, its the EF XR6 Wagon on 18" GT-P's, and slightly tucking tire

the oldschool ones are the best looking but i am into the ef/ el ones too.
I am lucky enough to have owned both.. but at the mo i have a ef v8 wagon and am looking for a good xp wagon to do up rat rod style

there wasn't an EF Fairmont Ghia wagon made mate :(
That's why my Heritage green (now black) EF is going to be an XR6 Fairmont Ghia wagon hehe

Funny that... I see the same thing up here.. All Ghia stuff... and a chrome strip along the rear bumper.. :\

i used to have a nice EA wagon, was a great car and i and miss it lol.. looked good all colour coded and lowered on EL XR8 wheels.
otherwise i like xa/xb wagons.. nearly bought a bronze V8 XB Fairmont wagon for my first car back in the day for under a grand Last edited by LUXO_8; 17-04-2011 at 10:42 PM. |

I've had the XT, XB, XF and AU. The XT was the best (as it was my first) but as alluded to the XC GXL (with bonnet vents) must take the prize for the most muscular of the lot. Pity about the rust in the 2-way tailgates, ughh! still gives me shivers when I think of the holes behind the sill panels....

Yeah au2/3 sr looked really good, it almost seemed low and the skirts helped too.
You really can't compare old and new, so for new I would go ef xr6 and old either a xb gs or xc fairmont with the gxl bonnet.
