careful with insurance too. If they knew you were getting new car next week they might investigate.

Mate, you sure did a fair job on that. I reckon that damage would write off a BA...

That's nasty. At least e-series are a good safe car. They do an awesome job of protecting the occupants. I know from experience. I have been in two accidents (one quite serious) and all I got was a couple of scratches on my knee (where it slammed into the dash - it actually cracked the dash). Even more amazing is that in both cases the car was fixable. I'm still driving the same car!

I also saw a pair of wrecked EBs a while back. One of them, the front of the car was level with the windscreen, the roof was bent and the dash was absolutely destroyed. Miracurously, the occupants survived. The engine was pushed underneath the car like it was meant to, and everything performed like it was designed to do.

The other had hit 3 trees. Front and back were wrecked, and it also copped a tree into the rear passenger side door. The seat was actually sticking out of the door. Again, I was amazed that nobody were injured. It is just testament to the strength and design of the e-series falcons. I can tell you, I wouldn't want to be driving a small hatchback in any of those situations.

No worries mate, it'll buff out! Seriously though, as long as you're ok, that's all that matters in the end.

Gee. That's not bad. When someone slammed into the back of me, it took over 6 months to get a cheque from the insurance company. Mind you, it was only $900 damage to my car ($8000 to the 2wd Hilux - You've gotta love towbars!)
