it'd be great to have a project section, then we can have threads titled our username and that can be our own little (or big) threads for our own cars.GREAT IDEA!
it'd stop a lot of b.s. too with bashing etc. hope this goes ahead! cheers

Isn't there already a Project section on the site?
My opinion: what we really need- Don't post something that a search would have revealed Don't post pipe dreams Keep the updates on your car to a sensible frequency |

Not a bad idea, tho I don't think it's completely necessary. I recon if it's not broken, why fix it? I don't think there are enough project threads to require a seperate section. Also, what defines a project? If i made a thread on my ED in the prject section, then post in the general area that i got new wheels for her, will i be told to take it to my origional thread?? If i got some new wheels for her, i'd want to make a fresh thread in the general section so everyone can see, rather than adding to a 13 page long thread about my car that will be visted once in a blue moon...

it would hopefully get rid of threads about colour coding a mirror cap, when it could simply go in the users car 'project' thread.

Why dont the users just start the one thread with their cars in it? We dont really need a project section. Fantz does it quite well.

I reckon it would be a good idea.
Take Fantz's thread about his EB for example, he is constantly doing something with it, and has contained it into one thread. If more people could do this, then I'm sure it would save a lot of the whinging about "pointless threads" about minor modifications. Edit - lol, dan beat me...

Is there anyway to make it so we can edit the origional title of our thread as more updates come?? Many other forums do it, would be worth looking into...

i agree, fantz's thread is a great example.
how ever a project area would simple encourage that kind of thread, since you're all whinging about the pointless posts, we want to encourage it so i can only see it as a win
