Default Damn Drivers

On my way home today I was stuck along Main North Road behind some guy in a HSV doing 85km, so I swapped lanes and overtook him.

Well, he didn't like that. He was beeping his horn and flashing his lights until he changed lanes and put his foot down and came up next to me yelling and swearing at me.

Now I know I didn't do anything wrong.

Anyway, the guy was a lot bigger than me so you can imagine how freaked out I was getting. Well I turned off into the town and he started to tailgate me all the way through the town. So with a few quick right turns I lost him.

I've had this crap before but it really freaked me out this time. This guy was HUGE!

I'm not sure.

But to my knowledge I didn't do anything wrong. All I did was overtake him.

"HSV" taken out of title - it's really nothing to do with it.

. . .only to find the cop shop isn't 24 hours . . . . bugger lol

Note: Menacing Driving is a serious criminal offence in NSW. It will be so in SA.

NB - It seems odd that a person would suddenly 'behave' that way without reason whatsoever???? 85km/h - legal speed= ?? Overtaking - done legally??

I wasn't really saying this in-spite of HSV drivers, I just threw it in there as playful banter between ford and holden drivers. But you know, it probably didn't look like that to anyone else.

Well if you were overtaking him when he was doing 85kph, then you were speeding.

In between Munno para and Gawler it is.

Edit: The turn off is 80 but I overtook him before that.

Edit again: I just realized you thought I meant the city. Nah, Gawler.

HSV DOES have nothing to do with it. Idiots are idiots, they don't drive a specific brand of car. We're not here to bag out driver groups based on their chosen car, so sit back down, champ.

EDIT: and don't use offensive language on here either.

I find generally people who get agro like the guy in the HSV did aren't great drivers so it isn't hard to evade them, you just need to remain calm and think several steps ahead and plan your next move.

I had some nutjob in a 4x4 getting aggro at me because I dared to do 70 in a 60 zone and he wanted to go faster (but wouldn't pass me??? go figure).

Eventually after several km of him blowing his ring off I saw a roundabout in the distance... entered it, him up my ***, did several 360s on the roundabout then chose one of the exits at random (all lead to roads which I knew weren't dead ends) and gave it a bootful. Old mate tried to follow me and nearly understeered himself through a sign trying to keep up with me. By this stage I was well in the distance and certainly not slowing.

Is it love HSV week or something?
Im sure if the story went "a hole in mercedes bla bla bla" there wouldnt have been another word about it...

Nameing the make of car is just something usually done with a story about driving..
