Default LT power window auto reverse

The rear drivers side window operates normally apart from when fully closing. When it reaches the top it will reverse and reopen by itself. If I am careful I can close it but if I go too far it will reopen. If I use the switch to auto close it or to use the window up on lock it will end up open again.

My suspicion is that it is trying to close too far and thinks there is something in the way.

Does anyone know if and how to adjust the window to allow it to close fully by itself?

Cheers,
Ben

Default Re: LT power window auto reverse

There is a procdure in the manual to re-set the auto up/down functions, though it sounds like you have no problems there

Basically hold it in the up position until it reaches the top and then keep holding it for another 10 seconds or so

then release it and hopefully it will be back to normal

if that doesn't work, maybe check that there isn't actually something physically blocking the tracks. did this only happen recently or did you take trim off or something?
