Default Ecu drama

I have a auII Ute dedicated gas 4.0lt auto. I have a faulty ecu. I am unable to find a 12nd ecu under $350 exchange.
Will a 12LD ecu which is $50 be any good ? It has the same "ETV-735" module ID, and is for auto, gas, 4.0lt and Ute.

Yep, give it a crack, your Au is the same series as
the Falcon the ecu come out of, good luck should work afaik.

See if you can return it if the ecu doesn't work though for whatever reason.

cheers, Maka

It will need a PATS (security) relearn... you can do this with forscan.

I have tried to reconnect a new second hand closely matchting ecu today. I tried to do run PATS program on the free forscan program but it wants me to pay for a licence. What should I do ?
