inlet manifold gasket replacement

Can someone please give me instructions on how to change gaskets on inlet manifold on a au 2 ford falcon 6 cyl .

Bugger of a job getting to the bottom bolts. I removed the air box and thermostat housing, so I could reach most of the bottom bolts from the front. The bottom ones at the back need to be done from underneath. Small 1/4 inch drive and ratcheting 10 mm ring spanner are very handy. They help to undo and redo the bolts a lot quicker, the final turn or so to give a good tightening is best done with a good ring spanner where you can. No chance of using a torque wrench, you just have to have the feel, and good idea to use loctite.

Thanks AMB, sounds like pain in the **** but have to get it done soon.noticed air leak couple of days ago and is still only small pin hole size.

If you have thin long arms it's pretty easy. Just have to force your arm into area's. Agree take out air box maybe thermo's as well. There is an oil sensor on that side that you want to be wary of other wise you will have an oil idiot light on all the time.
