My dads ****ed off about the amount of oil stains on the garage floor.
Also there's some oil in the carpet. How do I clean these out?

Fuchs cutting fluid as used in CNC Machines. It will remove it no worries.

if your dad is getting upset about stains on the floor... get a old peice of carpet or a drip tray and put it under the car when u park it.
my old boss was the same lol. i chucked a flattened box under the car i had at the time to shut him up about it.( all was wrong was the sump leaked in the bluebird i had.. fixed it tho)

Why don't you fix the oil leaks first, illavitar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My EL fairmont hasn't dropped a spot of oil on the driveway for nearly 3 years now. So it is possible to have an e-series falcon that doesn't drop oil spots, whether from engine sump, transmission etc..... |

Yeah i'll try that stuff out.
We were changing the front rotors and my mate decided just to put all the on the carpet so yeah it's got grease/oil stains on it.

When all else fails try some cloudy ammonia. Smells like ... well you dont really want to know :P Dont inhale it ..... you will pass out :P
Just put some straight on a sponge in a ventalated area and dab it out of the carpet .... DO NOT RUB IT IN ..... dab it out ;) Can use this for the cement floor as well .... just pour it on straight, give the floor a scrub with a stiff broom after a few minutes of soaking & then hose off ..... warm water works best to start with (hot if you can). Cheap as chips & works a treat. I only pay about $1.50 a bottle depending on the shop ... in the city would be cheaper Im sure ;) Another hint ........ Slap your mate ... LOL |
