I'm a little confused...why was it closed?

I tried to PM back but he is not taking PM's... so how does one contact an administrator and why post a URL I have no access to?

I closed the thread because your post was in the wrong section and love advice is not what we started this forum for.

I had one of them PM's too but it was regarding a for sale thread that I asked to be removed temporarily. I saw the URL and tried it only to be told that I didn't have enough access points to enter, I thought it strange that anybody would bother to send a URL that is useless but the main thing was that my post was removed.

This was an automated pm that is sent when a thread is moved or locked.
As it was moved in this case to a deleted section, only moderators have access to it, hence you not being able to open the link.

Yeah, i got a thread closed down last night. Got told that it was because they are cleaning out all the non-Ford related threads(well their opinion on cr@p posts anyway) Thought thats what the Pub was about.

I just wanted to know who wanted to see some NHL on Ten HD, as I was thinking bout telling channel Ten, but that idea got shoved right up there!

Oh well S happens!

Yes. I do. I was telling everyone why "they" are cleaning and closing down thread that some people might want to read and be interested in.
Not trying to stir trouble, but it annoys the buggery out of you when you are trying to find out some info and then the thread doesn't even last 5 minutes.

What have i said that could get me into trouble anyway? Obviously Laminge wasn't upset by my post

I wouldn't mind seeing more NHL games regardless of where they are screened. prob has something to do with me being the official photographer for Ice Hockey Australia - but that topic and all too frequently many others fall outside of the scope of topics AFF is striving for. We need to draw a line re off topic chat somewhere, and there are plenty of other websites on the net that cater for these other topics.
If you're interested in Aus Ice Hockey discussions try hockeypulse...

For the last time. I am NOT trying to stir Cr@p!!

I simply said what the reason behind the clean up is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't say you were all full of it.

Stop trying to twist my words so i get kicked!!

As long as there is somewhere to talk a bit of something other than Fords, I'll be happy.

Yes, your dead set right, but somthing to consider is where else do you get the same cross section of people with similar interests and experiances etc as you do here, and Australia wide too. Everyone all packed onto this 1 forum where there is a wealth of knowledge and experiances not just in cars.

I would have thought the Pub was the appropriate place for off topic non Ford type discussions too, and allthough I didnt see the initial post regarding the O.P.'s enquiery, I would have thought it a simple job to move it into the advise area and let the O.P. know of this for future refrence.
After all theres no shortage of Mods on this forum of which one of you guys could easily do this. Surely?

3)I didn't say you did

4)I'm not and if you were it would have happened by now

Are you right or what?

You are being nothing but a clown and if you think your behavior is impressing anyone you are sadly mistaken, although you do provide a good laugh. Unfortunately for you that laugh is at you rather than with you.

My sig can say anything I want as long as it is acceptable and not offensive, and the whole "he started it" thing what are you? 5?

You do see the irony in quoting my sig and them telling me to "chill" don't you.
