Default Things to do while bored!!

here's just two of the things i've done recently when i got bored:
1. Painted rocker cover
2. Cut open a spare air box we had lying around (i really need a new filter :Reverend: )

Dunno if anyone would be interested just thought i'd show ya. i recommend that if anyone has a spare airbox to do what i did. the sound is something crazy and has a little more pull due to the greater air flow.

Steve

yeah did the rocker cover in heat proof. dunno how it would come up if you didnt yous hi-temp. all you have to make sure of is that its clean before you spray it. then a couple of coats and it comes up sweet. the logo on the front i did with a small paint brush also with hi-temp paint.

falcon351: go and do it mate its mad. i'd look into getting a spare though incase you dont like it or your car runs really hot. it works best in cold weather (like all cars i guess)

what if you had a CAI that flows straight into that cut-out? would be pretty cool and useful i'd imagine.

haha yeah hot air induction it is. i just had a spare top so thought i'd cut it up to see what happened. no way i'd drive it in any kinda heat. it really needs cold ambient temperatures to be effective. really suited to the the current cold night drives. though i still keep the old top and snorkel in the boot just in case.

hey, does taking the rocker cover off require a new gasket when you put it back on?

i woulda cut the hole in the front and taken out the rubber in front of it from the bonnet seal so cold air comes in

oh i did do that.. instead cut holes and put mesh behind
paint black and it looks stock
