hey
planning to get extracotrs for my au series 2 its got dual fuel (gas/petrol) what would you recommend? thanx |

I have Pacemaker on mine. Not by choice, they were there when I bought the car. Does the job though.
If price is a buying factor, a cheap set will serve the purpose. Just make sure it's a "3 pipes into 2, into 1 type deal. Manifold gasket is the same. Be aware though, like with mine as an example, the bolt holes in the face may sit close to the individual pipes. For me this meant that when fitting the bolts, I had to manipulate the extractors into a perfect position, otherwise some of the bolt heads ran close to the pipe welds & thus I couldn't get a socket on to them! (ring spanner only....which was a bugger because of the pipes)....(the things you learn)....(LOL) |

I would look for a set with 1.5" primaries, 2" secondaries, and 2.5" collector.
Long secondaries work very well too, but I doubt you'll find any.

what outcome do you want to achieve with your extractors? Better fuel economy? Fatter low & middle range power? More power at 4500rpm+ of which you spend 0.0001% of your time at?
