We both have a passion for Fords....I drive a BA Futura wagon and my husband drives a Toyota Landcruiser - he's a keen offroader and that's the best car for the job.

She drives an old Mitsubishi Magna Elite. Its fairly old now, (mid 80's i think) but it has all the modern stuff, power windows, aircon, premium sound system and a lot of nice internal stuff.

Unfortunatly she needs a new car very soon as the engine is dieing on it, however its gone for a very long time and is still in very good shape body wise.

A 1.3 litre CE Lancer... It's sik, but I'm not allowed to drive it any more because of an unfortunate lift-off oversteer incident...

A mighty meteor! :hihi: They're surprisingly not too bad a car, as far as 80s econoboxes go.

But she wants something like Pilch's "GT" (that's what she calls it...)

Great minds and all that, MotherNature.....

We toyed with the idea of a terry for a split second before we bought the Futura - but in the end it wasn't an option moneywise so the Futura won out.

The cruiser we have because we love to see our country and it can take us to places most people will never see. We're members of the rare breed who actually take their fourby off the beaten track it seems - and it shows! The sills are almost non existent, the paintwork is all scratched and it has a few dents. She ain't pretty by any means, but there are an awful lot of stories and some beautiful country seen to go with the damage.

My other half drives a 98 hyungai excel complete with pink and purple seat covers and the day after the warranty expired the central locking stopped working, the interior started falling apart and it developed a misfire. Yep, quality crap there.
