Hey All, just managed to get a big day out ticket, for the Gold Coast one, geez they sold out quick, anyone here going?

Rage will headline for sure, no other band will top them.
I missed out on tickets, I thought they went on sale 17th.. BUT.. I got heaps of GA tickets to rage at festi hall anyway. Pretty sure I might die there, it's gonna be rad. I'll just find some BDO tickets later.

Tickets for BDO Sydney sold out in about 10 minutes. That was pretty crazy. Some ppl at work are bummed they missed out haha.

3-350 is better than RATM tickets that were selling for 800.

Got my tickets to the Gold Coast today!!!
They released 35,000 on the BDO website at midnight last night. Sold out in 38mins. At midnight!!! Ticketek sold the remaining 15,000 at 9am this morning. There is a ballot for a few more thousand (join up at the Big Day Out website if you are keen). Cannot wait. Rage Against the Machine are going to rip and shred that place to bits!!!!! |

I bought four tix for the goldie show online this morning,
a couple of mates were lined up at a local music store this morning, hundreds were there and alot missed out. When they went to buy the tickets a form had to be signed with your name and ticket number with something to do about reselling them at an exaggerated cost. How their going to police this is beyond me but im all for it to stop any profiteering. Still cant belive im going to finaly see a live show of RATM. |

I am absolutely shattered. I only wanna see Rage, they will have a 75min set at BDO. I missed out on tickets for festival hall and now the BDO.

at splendour in byron your name was actually printed on the ticket and you had to show id. alot of people complained but it stopped scalping and the time to get in to the festival was no different.

Going to Melbourne (as always). Hopefully I’ll be able to get tickets to the sideshows.
I’ve been going for years and years. The Rammstein sideshow at The Palace was one of the best that I’ve been to in my life (OMG the flamethrowers on stage!!!)

I've already requested the day off work! I think you know what the Big Day Out is, being a muso and all Dad, but just for a brief run down, its at Sydney Olympic Park, and there are heaps of bands that play all day long, A few of my fav bands are playing and some bands that I've never heard before! Melbourne should be an interesting venue this year - now being held at Flemington racecourse.
The reason why BDO is going off is due to Rage for sure. Theres still more bands to be announced! |

Pass, I mean Rage are cool and Hilltop but theres the whole day to kill, and with $9 cans. One hell of an expensive one...
Saw Metallica a couple of years ago at the Melb BDO, Then again at rod laver the next night... Awesome...
