Default "Celebration of Falcons Legacy"

"The event will bring together our most loyal fans, designers, engineers, Wheels staff and others to honour the Falcon, including a special appearance by some of the final Falcons, Falcon Utes and Territories.

You also will be able to:

- Celebrate iconic Falcons inside the venue while placing your Ford in an informal car show outside

- Have your photo taken with some of the final vehicles

- Participate in a very special live auction

- Speak with members of the Ford team about Falcon’s legacy that they will carry forward

- Take home a free copy of the November edition of Wheels magazine that you can have signed by the people who created and document Falcon through the years"

Is anybody here going? It is being held by Ford and Wheels on Sat 15 at Lara Vic, by invitation only. A limited no of invitations were sent to dedicated Falcon clubs last week giving only 2 days to respond. My club, The EFCC of NSW were offered 10 free tickets. I was the only one able to take up the offer, some others wanted to go but already had other commitments.
2000 Km is a long way to go for the day but is a good excuse to take my FGX for a long drive.
Hopefully some members of this forum will be going.

l A last chance to say goodbye to 56 years of Falcons

This forum had room for 100 people and had invited dedicated Ford people to come and one could bring others, but only room for 100 people to come, 50 will go in the morning session and 50 in the late session.

I filled out above the line, maybe that was wrong thing to do, so I have not heard back.
I would be going down on my pat Malone but to drive my XA GT Hardtop down there would cost a lot just in fuel and only to get it stolen bugger that, but to talk too dedicated Ford people would be a good thing to do on the day and to say that, I f ing went down to pay my respects, and hopefully talk to the wheels mob and then maybe get on the **** that night and talk Fords with like minded lads.
Maybe to fly down would be best.
I will bring my best Holden jacket with me, hang on I don't have one
This is the end of true Australia as we knew it.

I think it's closed now. Ticket applications had to be in by Monday night.
