Default What is the best LPG kit for AU?

My mechanic installed Lendi Renzo claiming that it is better system then OMVL.
But the car is running pretty awful, I have been back few times, but they still have not figured out what it is, anyone had Lendi Renzo issues before, and which one would be better OMVL or Lendi Renzo?

..

My mechanic installed AIROD systems and hasn't had issues ... I guess it comes down to how good yor mechanic is at setup and tuning of the systems. A lot of different LPG guys swear by different makes and brands.

What sort of issues are you having with it???
Is it the older style converter/mixer setup ... or the new Sequential Vapour setup?

There is also a good LPG forums section on here with a few LPG installers/tuners that will be able to help you out more with your enquiries as well.

Hope this helps.

I've got Landi Renzo on my XR8 and apart from some initial backfiring issues (to do with plugs and leads not the LPG bits and pieces), it's goin g great guns. Lots of power, and not bad economy for a mixer ring setup. Of course, SVI would be better, but at $2k extra, it's not that much better.

Well, I had an OMVL converter and it ran alright---

and then I put on a Vialle converter - bloody magic.

I love Vialle converters. Best power vs reliability vs economy. They do come at a premium tho.
Trust me, we have ran gas taxis for 10+ years, and through all the converters we've tried, Vialle are king.

Also, vialle are the ones the come standard on the dual fuel and e-gas AU's. For a reason.

Got to agreed with the Vialle as well ... seeing as mine is a AUII EGAS ute ... it came standard :hihi:

I haven't had any issues with my converter at all (apart from sticky solenoids that everyone eventually gets).

As Mr Hardware mentioned ... good power/economy from it.
For the old-style setup (ie: not injected) ... it goes better than I expected.

yeah. the vialle's just seem to be a good converter. good power, good economy, good reliability, not the cheapest but good value for money. that's why ford use them as standard.

OMVL's in my taxis for 15 years, no problems except for black gunk, but that will get in all of them after a while as it's in the gas.
