It has come to the time where i must sell one of my babys, and the little Gemini Coupe has pulled the short straw. Its a 76 coupe with worked 1.6ltr, 32/36 webber motor was rebuilt and had 2200 put into it, has new clutch, machined fly wheel and the paint is in fairly good condition painted it 2 years ago and has very little rust, well basically it has one crack on the boot lid and that's it. I just want to know from some fella car people what people think i should ask for it, I want 2000 for it, but is this abit much.

The bloke's asking a fair question. Some people really need to get over "This is a Ford forum, and thus anything to do with Holden isn't welcome here " attitude. Anyway it's a nice Gemi. We had a gold TE sedan years ago. I reckon it's worth about $1800 aswell. Like someone already said. |

Nice little goer. $2,000 is nothing these days. It's probably worth between $1,500 - $2,000 on a good day. A good Datsun 1600 or clean Escort would easily fetch that if they were in good nick as well. |

looks pretty clean, id say just under 2k like everyone else. a friend of mines sister has had 2 gems in the last coupla years, first one was nicked at a party she went to so she bought another one and got the first one back lol, but she is selling them both for around $1500. the second one had a rebuild 2.2 motor aswell as a nice paint job and rims, looked pretty cool but it doesnt run anymore. awesome little cars, great first cars, you wont find a shortage of buyings

One could argue he's advertising his car for sale here instead of following the site T&C and putting it in the for sale section.. |

try hotgemini.com
Currently a coupe in near original is going for 2100 and it has a spare car and parts included. 1500 would be max price. Nice to see a bit of conversion with the TE panels on a TC looking coupe. Having owned a TX, TC, TE and TG I really like them. |

the coups and good ones are hard to come by.
this one is great nick and sounds like you still have an attachment to it, but you'll be suprised people have paid up to $4000 for them. id say advertise it for $3500 and then let them drop the price or your mite be lucky and someone could by it at that price. |

I recently bought a 2002 AU3 for $700 with very little damage, and I don't like Geminis, but if I owned one as sweet as that looks theres no way I'd accept under $2000, very nice car mate

thats not the original front end is it?
that could either cost you $$$ or gain you $$$ depending on the person looking at buying it. |
