What do you want as your backdrop?

South Perth foreshore, with river & city as backdrop is nice, but can be hard to get the sun right. Makes for a fantastic long-exposure night shot though.

Kings Park. A great variety of backdrops there.

Ocean backdrops are always nice, but need to go early so the sun is behind you. Plus it can be really hard to find an un-crowded spot where the ocean is visible from the car-park.

Chittering - Julimar forest.

Julimar rd is great for a bit of a blast too. Lots of cops on weekends though, the bikers fang around there.

South Perth foreshore, Nedlands down by the river, bushy backdrops up in the hills, a million beach spots, farmland kind of vistas down Harvey way etc.

second zig zag and can get a nice view of perth in back drop as well if you want or the local country view pending on which way you point the camera

or up around mundaring weir

there are some nice small town around the out skirts east of perth worth a look at

and 2hrs east at the east side of Kellerberrin on the south side of road there is a shop front (glass) with a heap of restored classics (I believe the mens shed do them out there) or the motor museum in york

Shameless promotion of my toy.
Too big to take onto the road for photos...can't be registered.

Don't take photos in WA during summer.

Valued Contributor: For members whose non technical contributions are worthy of recognition. - Issue reason: Jim has consistently for some time now shared his life, and his passions in his XY GT and more so his FG GT in a way so everyone here feels part of the journey, which helps make AFF such a worthwhile place to be. An outstanding contributor in my book.

Haha, 3m wide at the rear axles.

But grab those plates we can take it through Maccas drive thru.
Or the bottle shop, we can load up with scotch after destroying the joint.
