Guys
This goes on from my previous thread on worn top shock mounts (IRS)!!! I bought a suitable deep socket to remove rear pack nut today. I cracked & removed the pack nut off afterwork. Unbolted upper & lower control arms. The hub & knuckle were ready to come out BUT the toe link after it was unbolted is STUCK!!!!!!!!! I can't remove it from the knuckle even when using a tie rod seperator lever, mash hammer & trolley jack!!!! I tried unbolting the toe link at the inner mounting bolt (centre of car) BUT the bolt won't come out cos it hits the fuel tank..... what a crap design!!!! So I'm STUCK.... Has anyone experienced this & any ideas on how to get the toe link joint off the knuckle????? : |
