Default Rough idea - BA XR rims on EL

OK this photochop is rough, but you get the idea.

I sold my Barra and got this EL here.

Now I would like to get some BA style rims for it. I got NFI about E-Series cars anymore, but are there copies available of these rims with E series offset? I reckon they would look ok. Has anyone got any pics of their car on these types of rims?

Thanks :alien2:

get the 18's if you are gonna get them...use adaptor hubs if they don't come in the proper offset. These wheels look MAD on EL's. Good choice!

If thats fuzions car, its actually an EF Futura with an EL Engine and a LOT of work (duh).

It must have had a fair bit more done to it, when i last saw it (end of 03) in person it looked awful.

Hahahaha!

What is the benchmark these days?

Basically I bailed cause of many reasons, mainly job insecurity in 2 - 4 years time plus I am saving for a house deposit. Plus when BA MKIII comes out with the 6 speed auto imagine what a MKI XR6T would be worth resale wise..
:

I am not sure what I will do with my current EL, at the moment I am enjoying the fact that I have done 270kms on less than half a tank! This is meant to be a money saver car - just a car to get from A to B. No doubt in 6 months time I will look at what I type today and laugh. (Probably have added rims, exhaust, manual conversion etc) :togo:

Only time will tell..

Not sure of the exact benchmark, havent seen chris's car on dyno for a while but its gettin up there. Im pretty sure he has around the 130kw before manual conversion, so he would be pushing 135 now im guessing? Maybe more. :

Neris 150rwkw is neaded to get in the hunt at all. Lots of cars here over 140rwkw.

I was actually talking about MightyEFGhia (Chris) as at the 2nd DD at BDT, Nerris was determined to have the most powerful fairmont at the time ;) But yeah, Dan's right that to have most powerful on here, 150+ is needed

Well to have the most powerfull NA 6 your going to be wanting 175+rwkw. However the most at our recent dyno day was 146rwkw, then 142rwkw(stock head/ecu).

The BAGT rims on the ED look awsome, like EDXR rims but bigger.
