hey i have a series 1 fairmont with black interior
what i was woundering is if ford released the carpet/floor in black ? or is it only that dark grey colour ? as i would like to get black carpet thanks brad` |

Didnt fairlanes have black?? I swear ive seen it in an AU

haha i dont know, thast why i asked, i wasnt sure if that dark grey was the high series colour or not,

My basic AU1 had grey colour, then my AU2's and 3's had a black colour carpet
Usually the higher series cars have the lighter interiors with the base models getting black or dark colours. |

hrm.. so fairmont / ghias / fairlanes / LTD as such Get light colours and the fortes / futuras get black ?
sounds unfair id rather black haha |

There's a place in Melbourne that sells decent aftermarket stuff in a range of colours, do a search and you should find it. If you want jet black that's your best bet, and it's reasonably priced if I remember rightly.

MY AU2 XR8 has black carpet. not sure about the rest of the models though.
