So just wondering who runs staggered wheels and what offsets are going to work, will the typical b series staggered wheel offset work or AU, I have been thinking of 8.5 on the front and 9.5 on the rear with 35 to 40 offsets.

Hi, I have bbs ch staggered wheels on my ts50. 8.5inch fronts with 3 5 offset and 9.5 inch rears with 42 offset they fit perfectly with 275 tires could possibly get 295 with rolled guards

Can anyone confirm if 19 x 10 with a +40 offset will work under the rear.

edit: i will be removing the rear wheels next week to fit new tyres, i'll see if the offset is written on them inside. I bought the wheels s/h and didn't check offset, he had em on a BA xr6 sedan and i bolted them on and they fit perfect Last edited by AUwindsor; 09-01-2015 at 04:11 PM. |

It's all about offset with larger wheels... and hard to get it right without test fitting or previous knowledge about what works with that car.
I run Vertec Manaray VR5 Sport's on my AU XR8 Ute (were on my BA Fairmont Ghia also). They are 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. Both +37mm offset. I would like to space them out a bit more... maybe another 5mm each as they sit right in the guards.

I thought 8.5 +37 would hit the upright on the front. I am looking at a set for the rear that are 9.5 +17, I think they will need guard rolling.

They are actually +45 offset with an 8mm spacer. They stick in a bit but the clear all the way around... I've done 20,000km's with them combined in an AU XR8 Ute, BA Fairmont Ghia, and my mate owned them on his AU Fairlane also for a year or so.
The rub a little at the rear but only on large bumps. I think I need some bolt on spacers all the way around. I am also sure it would do something to the handling geometry being in a bit.
