Default Rusty fuel lines XR8

Hello everyone, my AU V8 has rust on the chrome fuel lines that feed the injection! My question is, can I expect to find the same on the inside of the fuel lines? Thanks for reading. George

So long as they havn't been exposed to air for an extended period of time, I would think not.

You could always remove the fuel pressure regulator & see how dirty/clean it is (they have a steel gauze filter)

Well the car sat idle for 5 years empty. to get it going she needed fresh petrol and a fuel pump. Thanks
