That place seems so dodgy.
BA for 16k.. 120,000 km's in 2 years. They have great prices but to me, what seems like SEVERELY NEGLECTED cars. Ie; Come on down and buy a lemon.... Ok if you're prepared to pay big dollars getting it back up to scratch. Some of the cars do get me thinking though.. XG XR6 ute $4,950, repairable front damage. Seems like a bargain until you price what xr6 parts cost anywhere and find you're up for a $4,000 bill to fix it Last edited by JADED6; 01-02-2005 at 02:01 AM. |

Look s like one of the better fakes around. At least its a colour they made GT's in.
I've seen green/red & white ones that just don't look right to me. |

I don't want to bad-mouth a place publically, but as dodgy as people have said they seem, well having been there, the cars are generally buggered. They buy direct from damaged/repo auctions, and put a bigger price on and sell them off. You can get cars like that for less at the auctions, but i guess they may have access to auctions the general public dont?
I know for a fact that you can make quite a bit of $$$ fixing these cars up and selling them (if you know what you're doing), however your better off doing it to a plain excel rather than something sporty. A close friend of mine makes around $4->6k per car and each car takes around 6-8 months to fix up with only casual weekend work.. Last edited by oneredED; 01-02-2005 at 11:07 PM. |

it might be a better looking copy if it at least had the flares and side skirts.. and the inner scoop and front bar look a bit too light-silver to me. the front bar looks genuine though, but yeah, i wonder about the k's and condition

They seem quite happy to write EF/L's with 280,000 to 300,000 kms and a BA with 120,000 so if they haven't written anything about the EB????
I hate online car adds that leave shit like that out. 1 car yard always has 1km for all their cars which is annoying. |

Yeah there a little dodgy but what you have to realise they buy from auctions in nsw and vic and sell them here most are Repo or Stolen vehicles.
I dont like the place personaly but a friend of mine has bought twop cars from there and they have both been ruinning for about 2 yrs without much wrong

hehe this post cracks me up!! I live in broadford!! Have to agree with MRVX they are not very dodgy at all!! they buy some dodgy cars but they are pretty good at telling you whats to be expected!! I have bought 2 eb's from them and they both have never had a problem after years of thrashing!! Mates with one of the workers their and they buy most cars from NSW auctions!!
I went and took a look at that eb gt copy and it sat their for about 6 months because it had an ea motor in it and ran terrible!!It was a GLI but had pretty much been converted to a ghia!! They ended up selling it to another car yard who sold the car for $5500 to a local idiot about december last year. The car yard lyed to the guy and feed him all this crap about it being tickford enhanced!!! sorta rebirthing an old post here but theirs the info lol |
