Default An Explanation

I've just come back online for the first time since Friday night and I've just been made aware of a few issues that I would like to clear up.

For anyone that doesn't know Damo aka 975PIU aka 4LT68U is my brother. A few weeks ago he was banned for continuous stupid posts. On Saturday night I was out and he took it upon himself to log into my AFF account without my permission and start posting and taking advantage of my moderator status. Any posts that were made between Friday night and this morning were not made by myself. I've been out for most of the weekend.

I would like to apologise to all the E-series members for allowing this to happen. I'm extremely disappointed in my brother and very embarrassed by the whole situation. I've been with this club since day one and take my position in the club very seriously.

If anyone has any further questions or issues please take it up with me via PM.

Ash

Was pretty evident by the posts that it wasn't you ash, i suppose Damo has killed any chance of getting back on the forums? No big loss, the quality of his posts were getting worse. What's happening with you moderator status?

My computer is now setup with a password so nothing like this happens again.

Ash, you don't need to apologise as you have done nothing wrong. Sure Damo did use your name to make his posts, but you can't be blamed for what happens when you are away

i was well aware of what was going on the hole night, viewing post after post of what was happening, and also watching some moderators just go into the threads where posts by damo was posting and noticing nothing being done at all, i want an explanation for that...

other then that, i dont think well see an apperance of the username "DAMO" on these forums again

What do you mean fairly lightly? He got banned, thats all that can be done really, or was he only banned for a certain amount of time

If you have an issue with a Moderator, take it up in PM.

i didnt have a problem with any moderator, just why was nothing done about it when they were browsing threw the threads, for all i know there could be a perfectly good explaination, a confusion as to why is a moderator posting such BS, or they were aware and didnt know what to do.....

i guess its cleared up now thow

Well in my case we have a wireless network at home so that means the IP address is shared.

that doesn't make any sence, how did he get off lightly he's banned. Did you think the mods might hunt him down and try get an appoligy from him. :

You all seem to be whinging a fair bit, the amount of people I know Damo helped with cheap parts, knowledge and information over the years was heaps especially newbies. He was pretty dissapointed to just get banned with no explanation in the end. Just went to log in and realised he couldn't. It's just a bloody internet forum at the end of the day why take it all soo seriously.
