Hey guys just wanna know how to remove the fuel pressure regulator on an au series 3.
Need to know asap before the shops close All help appreciated. Thanks. |

Just incase no one get's back to you, my el xr8 had three screws through the fuel line up in to the under side of the reg. Can't say if there the same

Thanks for your reply, yeah i had a look before but there doesn't seem to be any bolts holding it on, seems to be connected to the fuel rail, just wanting to know how to replace it or if the whole rail has to be replaced....

There are three allen head screws underneath...........You will have to remove the top half the manifold to make some room before you can get to them.

Would it be easier to remove the rail or the top half of the manifold? :S

Not sure, Its just so tight for room back there.
Can i ask why you need to change reg? |

Yeah it is pre tight, i have to change it 'cause i only get 300 k's to a tank of petrol, i've replace almost everything but that
Its got new leads, plugs, oxy sensor, air filter, tps, map sensor, cat convertor has been gutted and ecu has been reset but stil remains the same. My mum just got her fuel pressure reg replaced on her ba and it fixed her economy (she was getting the same k's to a tank as mine). |

Have you checked your fuel pressure, pointless replacing it if it is operating correctly

you need to "T" into the fuel line and out a gauge on it.
