will a trip computer from an eb clip straight into an ea?

YES ... just make sure it does not have CFC Free on the little flap at the bottom.

ummm,,where is the flap on the trip computer..you may be thinking of the Climate Control module..

Jase must've had a long day :P

Yep a black trip computer is a straight swap for the earlier grey ones. Remove surround, pull out old trip comp, fit new one, replace surround. It's that easy
