Hey guys im looking at getting sloted rotors as i dont think mine brake hard enough for the car, its not stock any more and nether should the brakes. i have seen these sloted rotors on ebay going for around 180 posted or is it best to get DBA from super cheep or any other brands have people used, also my mate has offered me a new set he had sitting in the shed for $130 but he dosnt know what brand but there new and in plastic,
has any one used the ones of ebay or should i grab my mates off him as the price is right.

i havent used the ones of ebay but i did have dba slotted rotors they were good except i seemed to wear the pads down to metal every three months either they wear pads out really quickly or im too hard on brakes not sure

yeh, pads wear out very quickly. also there is barely any stregnth if you go slotted and drilled. they warp easily and give you the shits after a while

Hey eb91xr6,
I had Slotted dbas on my ea but as madxf has said you end up replacing pads every 3 months (if you dont thrash the brakes :P). Depends on what kinda power you need to stop.. Standard rotors and Bendix Advance seem to be the best combination and brand new rotors and pads ur prolly looking at $500 max all up. Or maybe give GREEN STUFF pads a go.. ive heard good things Just my 2 cents Nicko |

even iff theywere my brakes every 3 months do they stop bloody well
