Default Springnats!

Hi all,
Who went to the nats this weekend and what did ya's think? LowXR and I went up Friday late arvo for the weekend, only went to DECA for a few hours Saturday as it was way to hot! So we went to the pool instead! haha!
From what I seen the quality of cars was a huge improvement over last years! James drifting EB was mint with his custom intake manifold and smoothed engine bay.
Met up with Tonko_XR8, good to meet ya mate, and only4L Saturday night at IGA.
I didnt get any photos at the nats, couldnt be bothered carrying the camera around DECA, but I've got a few photos from our campsite. Dylan you should get some nats photos up and those photos of the 3 XR's out the front of DECA!

Dylan you might want to do some explaining about the Turboblade and the shiny yellow sticker on the windscreen! ;)

Heres some sexy poses shots of my drunk mate over my car!!

Thats right, SEXY EH!! haha.

Braden

They both look great. Shame about Dylan's canary. I noticed his taillights don't look tinted in the photos, so did he change them before or after the canary?

Haha yeah my mate didnt stop drinking from Friday night to this morning! I've got a photo of him dressed up in hooker clothes at a party! He loves it!

Dylan switched taillights for the weekend to be safe, I'll let him fill you in on what he got done for.

Great to meet Matt, Braden and Dylan (and those 2 random fools with Matt) on the Saturday night, we were worried you guys wouldnt show! But its all good....
I was lucky (?) enough to have the only Grandpa spec car aswell, wooo! But hopefully not for long.
That canary sucks Dylan, going to be an expensive weekend for ya.
How was the form of those 2 that were drinking Passion pop? One had an "uncle" that owns Grand Tourer resto's and the other "apparently" bought a twin turbo F6 motor with 12k of work done for a grand... And it slots straight into an EA....apparently....
All in good fun though...

I heard 28 cars were impounded over 4 days here, not a bad effort really. Even my mates FWD integra for "drifting" around a corner..

If it was a bit cooler it wouldnt be too bad, still needs to be jazzed up a bit tho.

One thing I was impressed with over last year was the quality of cars, this year there wasnt as many stock POS VN's!

Were you's camped at Victoria Lake Caravan park last year next to the train line? There were a couple of guys there saying last year there were 2 EB's camped in the same spot who got beaten up by some aboriginals. I think I remember someone on here telling that same story.

As a long time local, your spelling of bucks (bux) is quite ironic, there is a local Aboriginal family in Shepparton who's surname is Baux (or Bauchs) which ever they choose, I beleive they originally came from Barmah to Shepp, they have some Indian descent as well, hence the surname. I am no way saying that they were involved in your incident, it is just funny to see you use that word and spell it that way.

Yeah that was us. We stayed there the last 2 years. We didn't have any EBs though. Last year we had my Mum's VS and Damo's old EF.

Was there a pair of hot 16/17yo chicks camped near by? lol I think one of their boyfriends was running a old school RX-7.
