Default XH Snorkel on EF EL?

I've been told that it is possible to replace the stock snorkel on an EF/EL with an XH Snorkel which is larger with minimal fuss.... (and a hell of alot cheaper than getting an xr6/8 snorkel or even an aftermarket one) combined with a decent panel filter this could provide some extra response etc.

IS THIS TRUE? can i stumble down to the wreckers and strip all the XH's or their snorkels?

The XH snorkle fits EA-ED.

You would a tickford V8 snorkle or something, sorry do a search on snorkle or inlet.

Good luck finding an XH at the wreckers too ....... hehehehehe

Doesn't the XH intake only suit the non-BBM intakes from EA-ED?? As the intake pipe would be in the wrong spot....
I would just go for the tickford ones, as they are just a bolt in, and IIRC they are bigger than the XH one anyway.

XH does NOT fit a EF/EL airbox setup.

You need an AU XR8 snorkel.
