Default Great Dealer Service

After all the posts criticising the service at ford dealerships i have a post that commends them.
I have a company BFII RTV that is now 14 months old with 48k on the clock.
I have had around 6 warranty issues and one in particular caused the car to be off the road for over 3 weeks. Over the last week i have had to jump start the car a few times as the battery kept going flat I took the car to McKenzie ford in Colac and asked them to do a load test which comfirmed my suspicions (it dropped from 13v to 6 in about 5sec). As the battery was out of warranty they wiped their hands of it.
I contacted ford customer assistance and stated my case and also mentioning that the company had purchased approx 10 utes in the last five years as well as the numerous warranty issues i have had with the car. I was given a referance no. and advised to book the car in at a dealer elsewhere.
After speaking to Whoosha he contacted Ray, the service manager at David Nutter ford in Berwick and arranged for me to take the car there.
After explaining the circumstances Ray went in to bat for me but was'nt holding out much hope. After a wait of approx an hour i was given the good news that ford would replace the battery under warranty.

A big thank-you to DAVID NUTTER FORD in Berwick. I will be going out of my way to have the car serviced there in future.

Ford only warrants a new car battery for 12mths. The manufacturer (Exide) did not help either.
But if i had of bought a battery off the shelf, i would recieve a 2yr warranty.
Work that out.

The battery failed in my Liberty after 27months, Subaru only warrant them for 24.... didn't even bother trying to claim under warranty.

Bought a new Exide with a 3 year warranty, so have more faith in that than the factory one !
