Nice and clean .... take the mirror caps off and get them painted ... and get the clear side indicators .... just little things like that make it look just that bit better.

But you have a nice example there .... it's an SII by the looks of it.

Got mods planned???

Diagnostic mode is your friend ... oh it helps to have a watch handy when trying to enter into it. There's a thread i put up ages ago with a link to the online doco.

Paint job looks nice...

You might be have too lower the car by and inch or two though, The AU's always look a bit too high

Thanks folks. At this stage im pretty happy with it stock, but as my finances recover, i may begin to mod.

Probably first thing ill do is upgrade the factory smart shield to a decent alarm setup.
From there it'll be the usual
Lower (tickford suspension)
Wheels (BA XR 18")
Clear side repeaters
Lead and plugs
Tickford intake
Exhaust + Extractors
Cam
AND....... way down the track so sort of forced induction and maybe head work.

make the first thing a rear spoiler. For around $300 painted and fitted it has to be the least expensive major improvement

I'm with ronwest.

A spoiler really does lift the back of the AU, no doubt about it. I wouldn't have a sedan without one.

*sits at computer awaiting posts from JC and others* LOL!

Your not the first guys to suggest a spoiler, but to be honest im not a big fan. One of the other cars i looked at, same colour, same kays, same build date and both on gas, and i chose this one coz i liked the fact it didnt have the spoiler.

I must admit that I was getting used to it without a spoiler but it looks more

Nice clean looking car you got there. Deffinately needs some mags and Lowered suspension, i actually quite like the look of them lowered, mags & dark tint but no rear wing. Even if you add a bit of a kit to it, even just the tickford one, and leave the wing off will look very nice in the darker colour.

Finding one with gas, smart thing with the way fuel prices are. Wish mine had it.

Enjoy.

Cheers

Yeah, i had just planned on photographing it, but whene the weather turned sour i thought it was no hoper.

Then when it stopped raining for around half hour, i though it might be the perfect time to get some wet concrete reflective shots. Reckon they have come out a real treat.

Yep, if you look closely the twin tanks are visible, awesome economy, i feel almost criminal filling up for $30 or so for 500km's.

Yep, had mine converted to dual fuel 6 months ago, since then ive often thought it was a stupid idea (still kicking myself for not paying the extra for a GRA system at the time but oh well), but its certainly nice when it comes time to fill up
