Default Anyone from Clayton?

Being pretty new to the forums, I thought it would be good to meet some members from the area, and Dave (Ghia5L) is nagging me to as well. It would be good to get to know a few more people on the forums. I missed out on the cruise last weekend, so that didn't help things. If anyone wants to meet up, just let me know.

Thanks for responding, if you're passing through, you should PM me or something... preferably a day or two in advance. It would be great to meet a few other people as proud of their e-series as I am.

You should rip some helis near the Menzies building!

And FINALLY you've made this thread! Soon you'll be able to put faces to names/cars...

Yep, I've done the thread at last.
I don't think Monash would be too happy if I ripped those helis! Actually speaking of maniac driving, you should have seen the massive powerslide I did last week... turning onto a highway! It was accidental, but it was great. It would have been good entertainment to the cars behind me. I don't think my tyres are too flash. The road was a bit damp, but I should have more grip than that.

One of my friends gets his NF Fairlane sideways in the the uni gravel carparks. Now that would be a good sight from the outside!

Sounds like fun, but i'd be so paranoid of people flicking stones onto my car if i parked in those gravel car parks at clayton campus. Luckily for me our uni opened its new multistory carpark this semester car now lives in garage at home and undercover at uni :1syellow1

Wow. Got a few more responses than expected. Great! We should pick a date in which we can all have a get-together... or a mini-cruise as EF_Machine says. It would be great! Any ideas?

Don't remind me. At least I can stick it up to the HSVs with my mighty EA!

At least he's sensible and makes sure there are no cars there before he goes insane! The other week I saw an AU do a bit of a burnout, spraying a nearby VX with stones. While I would have liked to commend the driver, there are some things you shouldn't do. There are some multistory carparks here as well, and they are currently extending one of them.

Being on residence, we get our own special car park though, with security guards and everything. That's pretty handy.

Again, thanks for the info. It's good to see there are a few more e-series fans in the area than I initially thought, Hope to hear heaps more in the future.

I live in Oakleigh and work in the Clayton area most nights so you probably would have seen my white EA cruise around before October... soon again though.

These days you'll probably see me cruise past in my AU2 ex cab

Nice EA, wicked. I don't think I have seen that EA around. By the looks of the avatar, it looks pretty good. The clear indicators look nice on it. They suit the white, I reckon the amber indicators look good on the silver though. What happened to it?

I've seen a few ex-cabs around so I'm not sure if i've seen yours. You probably wouldn't notice mine. No real distinguishing features from any other Platinum Silver EA Ghia.

Do you come past the uni much? Because that's where I'm based.

Yeah, if you're in the area that counts. That's a great way to spend your time! At uni, the lectures certainly aren't fun, but wow, there are some nice chicks! Can't wait for summer! The talent that comes out then! :

Wow, another person from around here. I didn't think there would be so many members from this area! We should have a mini cruise sometime! We hopefully would be able to get a good turnout.

Cheers to all

I used to go to Monash Gippsland, and I have to admit, the parking there was fantastic. It was all paved, no parking fee, and you could turn up at midday and still get a decent park.

The resident carparks at clayton aren't too bad either. They're also paved and all residents get a free parking permit, so that's great. The only disappointment is that they're not under cover. That's one reason why my car is incredibly filthy at the moment.
