Default Bf dff into au (ute)

My brother posted this in another part of the forum, thought it might get more traffic in here.

Hi lads,
As titled im just wondering how straight forward it is fittng a lsd out of a BF xr6 ute into an AU falcon ute, they are both leaf sprung and i have the tailshaft to suit the BF diff. Wll i need to adapt the tailshaft to fit? Do the spring perches lne up?
any answers greatley appreciated.
Cheers in advance

Also the way the hand brake cable mounts to the diff is different. It is nothing a hose clamp can't fix, but then it doesn't work 100%.

I did have previously in my ute the diff from a BA XR6 (open center) and that was the only problem.

Cheers
